In his role at ServeMinnesota, Dean drives insight and newness to programs by implementing human-centered design (design thinking) across the organization. Prior to ServeMinnesta, he was Target executive and managed a multi-million dollar portfolio of non-profit organizations driving K-3 reading outcomes. While at Target, he was trained in human-centered design and brought this problem-solving approach to the social sector. Dean earned a bachelors degree in education from Winona State University and a master’s degree in business communications from St. Thomas University.
